On January 12th the Leadership Community held a meeting at Dar Manwel Magri in Msida to discuss the implications and challenges involved in undertaking a commitment with God

Please find attached the document Impenn (both in English version, and Maltese), the hand-out distributed during the meeting, which further explains this invitation of commitment to CLC. Namely WHY one should take on a formal act of commitment, as well as suggestions and criteria to help decide WHETHER or not one is prepared to embark this tangible commitment to God.

Farewell message from Thomas Lofaro

The meaning of CLC membership

On World CLC Day 25th March 2012, all communities and close friends are invited to contemplate what a genuine and full membership in CLC means.  This will involve living a commitment within CLC, living our three pillars of spirituality (formation), community and mission (apostolic works), being financially co-responsible, and responding to all that we are called to live within our community.

In this context we have recently received the latest edition of Projects 150  issued by the World CLC Ex-CO which contains reflections and challenging questions related to this theme.

Letter from the president

My dear friends in CLC,

Another CLC Seminar is rearing to go and this year, we are fortunate to have Fr Luke Rodrigues s.j. with us. He is World CLC Vice-Ecclesiastical Assistant. Do take advantage of his presence and try to find a chance to speak with him over the weekend. Talk on divorce – 1 May 2011

A meeting for all CLCers on the theme ‘Understanding better the Church’s position on divorce’ was held on Sunday 1 May at Dar Manwel Magri in the run-up to the referendum of divorce legislation. The speaker was young Dominican priest Fr Christopher Caruana, OP, who gave a very clear, intelligent and insightful presentation and afterwards replied to the several pertinent questions put by the numerous audience present.  Read the rest of this entry →
