World CLC Executive Council Newsletter

The Projects 151 e-newsletter (April 2012) from the World CLC Executive Council to all CLC national communities has been issued. Among other items it features a brief update on the situation of CLC NCs worldwide, updates on CLC finances, the Rome apartment project, the setting up of a CLC apostolic fund, preparations to celebrate CLC’s 450th anniversary and hold the CLC World Assembly in Lebanon next year, global CLC advocacy and networking on ecology issues, the upgrading of the world CLC website www.cvx-clc.net and the launching of a CLC channel on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/cvxclc.

The April 2012 edition of the CLC Europe newsletter has been issued. It includes, among others, news about an International CLC Holiday Week in Slovenia to be held during 21 to 28 July 2012, and various CLC International Volunteering experience, happening in July and August. There are  summer experiences in Romania, Peru, Cuba with CLC Italy and Ecuador that CLCers from Malta may also take part in. First 19 Maltese CLCers undertake Initial Commitment on World CLC Day 2012

CLC Members who undertook Initial Commitment March 2012

Nineteen members of CLC Malta undertook the Initial Commitment to God through CLC at a ceremony held on Sunday, 25 March, World CLC Day, at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Way, Naxxar.

Celebrating World CLC Day – Sunday 25 March 2012

On Sunday 25th March 2012 World CLC Day will be celebrated at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Way, Loyola House, Naxxar. The celebrations will start at 9.00am and will last up till 11.45am.

Exploring our faith in a fun way

Be a change this summer: volunteer abroad

Chaplaincy is offering a Spiritual experience consisting of voluntary service among children in a residential compound run by the Missionaries of Charity (sisters of Mother Teresa) in Naples, Catania and, for the first time, even in Palermo during the month of July.  In August, if interested, there will be a group organised to go in Ethiopia. My experience of the Spiritual Exercises in daily life
