The Christian Life Community is an international movement of lay men and women, young and adult, from all types of background, who desire to live more closely with Jesus Christ and participate in His mission. In this we follow the Way of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
Members gather regularly in small groups to support one another in living a way of life based on Gospel values. They reflect on their lives and on the situations around them, share their experiences and pray together. They help each other to know Christ better, to find what he is asking of them in their lives, individually and as a community.
Gradually, their friendship deepens through the mutual support and compassionate understanding that comes from a common desire to give a deeper meaning to their lives. The aim is for them to grow, with time, in their capacity to love, to reach out to others who are in need, to bring justice to the environments they find themselves in, to bring true peace.
The small communities are organised into larger communities regionally and nationally, together forming the World Community. The World Community is organized by Region: Africa, North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East. CLC Malta forms part of the European Region.
